Bobby Portis responded to Perkins’ statement in the comments section of the post.
“You’re saying anything…just like our locker room was tense 😂😂😂,” Portis commented.
Giannis Antetokounmpo joined the fray and applauded the former Celtics player with a smart response to his teammate’s comment.
“BP, do you think this will be us in a few years? Probably 😂😂,” Antetokounmpo commented.

Rumors about Giannis Atetokonmpo wanting to spend some time in the community. The two-time MVP has been rumored to be headed to New York as his preferred location.
However, Antetokounmpo has not made any official statement regarding the situation. The Bucks superstar is currently sidelined with a calf strain. He is averaging 28.9 points, 10.1 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game on 63.9% shooting.
The Milwaukee Bucks have clarified their position on the possibility of trading Giannis Antetokounmpo. On Friday’s episode of Clutch Scoops’ “Latest NBA Intel,” NBA insider Brett Siegel revealed the Bucks management rumor amid the ongoing trade rumor storm.
“Even though there are teams lining up and asking about Giannis, he’s just saying to Jon Horst and Bucks management, ‘Hey, is Giannis going to be available? Can we start talking about a trade?’ No progress has been made towards this yet. The Bucks don’t accept him,” Seigel said.
“Teams that have inquired about Giannis have basically been told ‘no,’ and so far there have been no trade negotiations surrounding Giannis.”
Giannis Antetokounmpo is arguably one of the top three players in the world right now. He has proven capable of leading a team to a championship in the past. So any trade involving him wouldn’t be cheap for other teams.
The Bucks (11-15) have fallen off the mountaintop midway through the season. They were one of the top five teams in the Eastern standings when the season started. However, they now sit in 10th place.
