Golf Star Liv Talor Gooch retires from US Open standings in mid -round

Liv Talor Gooch's Gulf Star was trying to classify for the next U.S. Open in 2025. However, he said the United States Competitive Sorting Tournament Open and will not be in the field of Oakmont Country Club on June 12.

Gooch became a professional in 2014 and won the CLASSIC RSM in 2021. He also won an event on the web tour circuit: The News Sentinel Open 2017. In 2023 he won three individual titles in the Gulf of Liv: Adelaida, Singapore and Andalusia. He has not yet won a significant victory in the championship, although he competed at the PGA Championhsip last year and ended in T60.

According to a report by Nucle Golf, the North Golfist -American had three holes to play in the United States Competitive Sorting Tournament Open before withdrawing. The publication read:

“This year's United States Open will have an asterisk next to it, as Liv Talor Gooch's golf star will not be in the field after leaving the route with 3 holes to play in the final standings. DNF.”

Gooch had played 15 holes and was in +1, which would have placed it at 52nd of 76 golfers competing in the standings.

Last year, Talor Gooch Did not even try to qualify for the tournament. When asked if he would compete in the final standings of the tournament, he simply said (through Sports Illustrated)

“I'm not.”

The 33 -year -old did not provide any reason why he decided not to compete in the qualifier last year. Similarly, his reason is still unknown to remove this year.
