New York Mets free agent Pete Alonso he's going to have a long night, as his wife Haley shares, that will force him to do something he might not want to do in the first place. Alonso is currently a free agent after opting out of his contract with the Mets this offseason.
On Tuesday, Haley shared a short black-and-white video, in which the first baseman can be seen pushing his newborn's stroller through the streets. In the caption, Haley shared with her followers that she will have Alonso watch the season 34 finale of Dancing With The Stars with her.
“He doesn't know it yet, but I'm going to make him watch the 3 hour finale of Dancing With The Stars with me tonight,” she wrote.

From the looks of it, the first baseman isn't a big fan of the show, but he may have to give in to his wife's demands.
The Season 34 finale aired Tuesday at 8:00 PM ET on ABC and streamed live on Disney+. The three-hour episode saw the five finalist couples perform three routines each. The five finalist couples were Robert Irwin and Witney Carson, Alix Earle and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa, Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach, and Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten.
In the end, the pairing of Irwin and Carson emerged as the season 34 champions, taking home the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. Earle and Chmerkovskiy finished second.
Pete Alonso and Haley welcome a new member to their family
On September 21, Pete Alonso and Haley became parents for the first time when they welcomed a baby boy. The couple shared the news on October 9 via an Instagram post from Haley, which had the following caption:
“9/21/25 🤍 the night we welcomed our son into the world.”
The Alonsos first shared about the pregnancy in April. In July, they revealed the gender of the baby. Now they're in the midst of first-time parenthood while also contemplating their MLB future, as the first baseman is a free agent.
