“I didn’t expect it to be so fast.”

ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion “The Queen” Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom prepared for her most recent fight with a long training camp.

But the striking 23-year-old Thai icon says she was surprised Polish opponent Martyna Dominczak offered little or no resistance.

Phetjeeja made quick and seemingly easy work of Dominczak at ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video last weekend at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, sending the Polish star to the canvas three times in the first round to take home the TKO victory.

Even ‘The Queen’ was surprised at how quickly the fight ended. He told the Bangkok Post’s Nick Atkin:

“The first time. I feel happy. I’m very happy today. I fought (and) got a knockout. So I’m very happy and my team is very, very happy. I didn’t expect it to be this fast.”

Needless to say, it was another explosive finish that fans have become accustomed to seeing from ‘The Queen’ Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom.

While the fight was over fairly quickly and Dominczak could have performed a little better, Phetjeeja ending the night early was no surprise.

Phetjeeja attributes the success to immense teamwork at Venum Training Camp

“The Queen” Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom returned to Team Mehdi Zatout’s Venum training camp for his most recent fight, and the Thai superstar looked sharper than ever.

He gave credit to his team and talked about the experience:

“I think the whole Venum training camp has really great teamwork, so not only Mehdi, but also my coach and other athletes who have become my sparring partners. There are a lot of foreign athletes who have taught me to do unorthodox moves and also other moves that I might not know so much, and maybe they have also helped me plan teamwork, so all the coaches have helped me plan a role so great. my victory, so I would like to thank each of them.”
