Ilona Maher recently showed his support for rugby companion Georgie Lilly Perris-Reding. The latter joined Team USA in the game against Fiji after more than a year.

Georgie Lilly Perris-Reding, who formerly represented the US at the Rugby World Cup in 2022, expressed his feelings to join the team. In an emotional Instagram publication, he thanked everyone for their strong support.

“428 days since I brought the US sweater and this Saturday I was able to throw in the sweater again.

Thanks to each person who made it possible and supported me every step of the way. This trip has been extremely difficult and it owes everything. Hard work continues! “”

Maher left a two -word reaction as he shared the publication in his Instagram story. She wrote,

“It's back.”

Ilona Maher And Georgie Lilly Perris-Reding recently represented the United States Women's 15s Rugby team in the CHULL AGAINST RUGBY RUGBY RUGBY team in Fiji in the Audi Camp in Washington DC. Americans won with a comfortable margin of 31-24.

Ilona Maher previously received the Espy Award for the Innovative Athlete of the Year. The 28 -year -old was recognized for his efforts to promote the rugby of women through social networks, as well as his bronze medal at the Paris Olympic Games.

In his speech after receiving the prize, Maher mentioned,

“I have been taken for seven years at the Olympic Games, but I finally broke myself. Starring things. Um, I know it is only, only here, but I am a sports athlete through and through, and my colleagues are the reason why I am the way I am. Um, I love them very much.

The rugby player added even more,

“What else do I have to say? My message stays the same, it's strong is beautiful. Strong is powerful. It's sexy. It's whatever you want it to be. And I hope more girls can hear -as I feel.”

Maher will represent the United States Women's Rugby Team in the Rugby World Cup, which will be held in England from 22 to 27 August. The Olympic bronze medal expressed his thanks for being included in the workforce of 32 members.
