Is Powerwash Simulator 2 crossplay and multiplatform?


Powerwash Simulator 2 is a safe but expanded sequel to the dear indie game of 2022where players use a power washer to clean dirt and grime from customers' properties. Although it is not a game for everyone due to its monotonous yet routine gameplay, it is sure to click with many due to its zen-like design mantra.

cross game allows players from different platforms to enjoy cooperative games together. Users can participate 4 player online co-op or two-player local split-screen co-op. That said, there are some restrictions here: only PC and Xbox can play online together. PlayStation and Nintendo players can only play with users on the same platform.

That said, PC users can purchase it from various digital storefronts including Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store. However, there is a silver lining; speaking in one Official Reddit FAQthe developers said that while Nintendo and PlayStation platforms won't have cross-play at launch, that could change in the future. Cross progression allows players to port their Powerwash Simulator 2 save file to any other platform without fear of losing progress if they have multiple copies for different systems. Unfortunately, this is not the case here, as no platform has this feature. In that regard, very few games have cross-progression, and if they do, it's usually between PC and console.

We've seen this before with games like Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition and Star Wars Outlaws on Nintendo Switch that can carry over progress from the PC version.
