Toucan with beak explosion debuts in Pokémon GO on November 30, 2025, as part of Pikipek Community Day. The move will initially be available from 14:00 local time on November 30 until 22:00 local time on December 7, 2025.
Beak Blast is a flying-type charged attack. In PvP battles, it does 110 base damage for 55 energy and is guaranteed to reduce the target's attack by one stage. In PvE battles, Beak Blast has a base damage of 125 with a cooldown of 2.5 seconds.

Is it worth using Toucannon with Beak Blast in Pokémon GO Battle League?
At first, Beak Blast Toucannon is a considerable step up in Pokemon GO PvP. He sees some improvement in his Big League performance, but Ultra League is where he shines, emerging as a potential Flying-type meta.

Given its relatively low volume and the immense closing power of Beak Blast, Toucannon works even better when shields are down on both sides. However, Peck's fast attack pressure will allow you to get through protected scenarios as well if you can manage your energy well.
Toucannon works best in his shadow form with the 20% increase in his damage output. However, the main downside to using this Pocket Monster is still its monoflying moveset, which leaves it unable to do anything against Electric and Rock types.

Is Toucannon worth using with Beak Blast in Pokemon GO Gyms and Raids?
Toucannon with Beak Blast is an effective attacker for low level raids. However, it can't keep up with powerful Megas and Legendaries that take the place of the best Flying-type attackers in Pokemon GO.
Toucannon's low defense means it won't be a particularly good choice for defending gyms either.

How to get Toucannon with Beak Blast in Pokemon GO
To get Beak Blast Toucannon in Pokemon GO, you must evolve Trumbeak with 100 Candy between 14:00 local time on November 30th and 22:00 local time on December 7th, 2025. You can also do this during Community Day in December 2025.
If you miss these windows, you'll have to wait until another event to get this Toucannon-exclusive move back. You can also use an Elite Charged TM to get this attack outside of specific events.
