“It was Jade's fault”: Tyrese Haliburton reveals an early tension between the bride Jade Jones and her mother


Tyrese Haliburton And his girlfriend Jade Jones has been together from college and pledged last July. However, on Thursday, Haliburton revealed that his relationship has not always been a fluid navigation, citing the early tension between his mother and Jones.

During an appearance in the “What's your your story” podcast by Stephanie McMahon, Haliburton was questioned about his promise's relationship with his mother. The Peacers star revealed that his current relationship was “amazing”, but at first there were struggles.

Haliburton explained that, like the “Golden Son”, his bad communication led his mother to blame Jones.

“My mother wants to know everything that is happening and, when I do not tell her, it was as if she were a fault of Jade who did not say to her,” said Haliburton. “I was a spoiled boy, and my brothers would say, I was the golden child. So they rarely called me. And so was my mother, who blamed me? It would be jade.”

Although Jones initially struggled to win Haliburton's mother, both are closed. Together since their university days in Iowa, Jones and Haliburton have become one of the most recognizable couples in the NBA.
