The Giants rookie quarterback Jackson Dart was heartbroken after teammate Cam Skattebo suffered a sprained right ankle during Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Eagles. He spent the second quarter at Lincoln Financial Field.
Dart took to Instagram after the game to show love to Skattebo. He shared an NFL carousel post on Prime, showing him and Skattebo celebrating during a previous game. It also included a collage of two other early season photos.
“My brother Mann. He's got your back no matter what! GODS PLAN,” Dart wrote.

Skattebo established himself as one of New York's most reliable players. He injured his ankle when he jumped to catch a short pass from Dart.
Philadelphia linebacker Zach Baun tackled Skattebo from behind and landed badly with his leg twisted underneath him. He immediately grabbed her ankle and felt pain.
Medical personnel rushed in and Skattebo was airlifted off the field. He underwent surgery at a Philadelphia hospital later that evening.
Early reports confirmed that the procedure was successful. However, his recovery schedule will keep him sidelined for the rest of the campaign.
Before posting on Instagram, Dart, who was named the Giants' QB1 on Sept. 24, didn't hold back his emotions after witnessing the injury.
“I was devastated,” said Dart, via Athletic's Charlotte Carroll. “He's my guy, man, so to see him go down and obviously react to what happened, it sucks. It's the worst part of this game.”
Skattebo was one of the few bright spots in a challenging year for the Giants. He was a fourth-round pick out of Arizona State.
New York has a big hole to fill and is struggling with a 2-6 record. The loss to the eagles it was the second in a row and the team is last in the NFC East.
The Giants have been outscored 215-173 this season.
New York Giants quarterback Jackson Dart shared the frustration he felt and how they need to move forward after the Week 8 loss to Philadelphia.
“I thought they really dominated most of the game,” Dart said Sunday, via the New York Daily News . It's an embarrassing feeling. We have to start looking for ways to win.”
“I hate losing. I'm not used to it. I'm not going to accept it. I'm not going to be okay with that, and as a team we can't be okay with that. We've got to figure it out.”
Dart added that the team worked hard all week and came prepared, making the loss all the more disappointing.
The Giants' next game is Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers at MetLife Stadium.
