Detroit Lions head coach Aaron Glenn reportedly has a “significant offer” to become the head coach of the New York Jets, according to reports Jordan Schultz Fox Sports, and the job is “his if he wants it,” although no deal has been reached.

Schultz added that Glenn “is currently building his potential staff, which would ideally include Lions quarterbacks coach Mark Brunell—if he doesn't get the offensive coordinator job in Detroit—who could be in play as offensive coordinator for Glenn. I also said that Glenn wants to bring in a veteran defensive coordinator who was a former NFL head coach, sources say, while still assembling his offensive staff.”
