John Cena praises popular WWE star; he wants to be a guest on a major podcast

WWE star John Cena He recently made his first public appearance after retirement. The star had his final match on Saturday night’s Main Event.

It was an emotional night as the Cenation Leader bid farewell to the WWE Universe. He fought Gunther valiantly and even seemed to win the bout on a couple of occasions. However, The Ring General was too good for the night and forced the 17-time champion to tap. What followed was an emotional farewell to the legend, with the entire WWE locker room at ringside, bidding him farewell.

Cena appeared Cody Rhodes’ What do you want to talk about? podcast this week. He talked about his last game. Rhodes revealed that Gunther also wanted to be on the podcast after hearing John. Cena supported the idea and said that Cody should definitely wear the Ring General for one episode. The legendary fighter claimed that he had immense respect and the feeling was mutual.

“You should definitely have Gunther… I can’t tell you how much respect I have for him, and I know he won’t say the same about me, and he shouldn’t.”

John Cena will be associated with WWE

During the Saturday Night’s Main Event after the show, Triple H clarified that only John’s in-ring career was over.

The game claimed that John still had passion the wrestling business. He felt that the Cenation Leader would continue to be associated with WWE in various capacities.

“John Cena’s passion for WWE didn’t end tonight. John Cena’s career in the ring ended tonight, his competitive stature. It’s rare for people to see the end there and then think that’s exactly how I want to go out and then get to do it. And that’s what John has to do tonight. He’s had his kind of farewell this year this year with him and himself that way.”

He was confident that Cena would be involved with the product in some way, even though he was no longer an active in-ring competitor.
