Eric Trump recently shared his thoughts on the UFC's White House event and named Jon Jones among the three fighters he'd like to see compete on the card.
The UFC The White House event is scheduled to take place next year as part of the America250 celebrations and is expected to feature a blockbuster fight card. The fights will take place in an Octagon located on the South Lawn of the White House, and the fighters will come out of the Oval Office. Although the event was originally scheduled for July 4, it was later rescheduled for June.
Given the size and scope of the event, it's no surprise that many high-profile fighters like Jones and Conor McGregor expressed great interest in fighting on the card. In an interview with the NELK Boys, Trump backed Jones to compete in the UFC's White House event alongside McGregor and Bo Nickal:
“I mean, Jon Jones has to fight. I'd love to see him… I feel like he's got one left, and if there's ever one you're going to do, it's the White House. I think you're going to see McGregor in that one. I know McGregor well enough; he's a great guy. There's a lot of talent out there right now.”

He continued:
“We've got to have a good American show on America's birthday at the White House. . . . We've gotten pretty close to Bo Nickal; he's a hell of a fighter. This kid was undefeated at Penn State, a real American champion who gets in the Octagon and starts knocking people over. . . . I'd like to see a couple of American kids do really well at the American school.”
appears Jon Jones is eager to come out of retirement to fight in the UFC's White House event. The MMA legend recently sent UFC general manager Dana White an impassioned message, pleading to be booked for a single-card fight.
During an interview with The Schmo (via @RedCorner_MMA at X), Jones was asked about the possibility of being on the White House card next year. He answered:
“I really hope it happens. Dana, bro, please, bro, please. I'm training, I'm feeling great, I'm healthy, and I'm going to be so honored to represent our country and do what I do best.”
