Josh Bilicki has been penalized for Nascar after a security violation during the Cup Cup race in Charlotte Motor Speedway. The penalty was issued due to a wheel detachment incident that involved his 66 car and has caused suspensions for two members of his crew.
The same theme also took place in the Xfinity series, which involved the Racing Kaulig team by Daniel Dye, giving rise to similar consequences. Jayski published the update to X with the subtitle:
“The penalties announced after Charlotte's races. The number 66 of the Series Cup and number 10 in the Xfinity series were penalized by the loss of a wheel.”
The publication was confirmed that the Ford 66 of Josh Bilicki, directed by Garage 66, had its right wheel detached under caution during Coca-Cola 600 lap. The incident occurred in turn 4 and was classified as a security violation under section 10.2.6.d of the Nascar Rules Book.
As a result, the subsequent changer of Garage tires 66, Brehanna Daniels and Jackman Ethan Hindman, have been suspended for the next two races in the Cup series, through the event at Michigan International Speedway. Saturday's XFinity Race on Saturday saw an almost identical incident.
Daniel Dye, driving number 10 Chevrolet for Kaulig's racing, lost a wheel at the back with caution at Volta 200. The wheel was detached and caused his car to turn to the safest barrier.
Dye's Pit crew members, subsequent tire changer Jerick Newsome and Jackman Richie Williams, have also been suspended by two races in Section 10.5.2.5.5 of the Rule Book. These races include the upcoming events in Nashville Superspeedway and AutoDromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City.
Josh Bilicki, who has made 8 series of cups that starts this season, currently occupies the 31st place with 110 points. Has no top-10 or victories until 2025. Its average position is 28th, and ends in 23rd on average.
Josh Bilicki once shared an emotional tribute To the Nascar veteran, Kevin Harvick, after the last race of the Harvick Cup. The publication was hung on X after the end of the season at Phoenix Raceway on November 5, 2023. It marked the last start of Harvick as a full -time pilot in the series of cups after a long and successful career.
Kevin Harvick, driving the number 4 of Stewart Haas Racing, had announced his retirement before the 2023 season. Josh Bilicki, who competed in part -time at number 78 Chevrolet for Live Fast Motorsports at that time, had the opportunity to share the track with Harvick on a tenth year.
Bilicki used the time to reflect on the races with someone he looked at to grow. In his tribute place, Bilicki shared:
“Yesterday was the end of an age with the last race of the @kevinharvick Cup. Kevin was the last pilot who has still competed in full time since the time of the Nascar I grew up seeing as a child.” He wrote. “In recent years, it seemed to me that KH and I always meet in the road courses. I have been a pleasure to share the track with you! Enjoy the next chapter of your life …”
Since then, Bilicki has changed teams and now races for DGM races. The head of the crew, Mario Gosselin, attends him in his career efforts.
