Former Captain of England, Michael Vaughan, praised the Pealer of South -Africa Kagiso Rabada for his finally heroic championship in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 against Australia. He called Proteas Speedster as “World Class Boller”, Vaughan put him only behind Bowler of World Test number 1 Jasprit bumrah.
The statements came when Rabada returned with nine wages to the championship, including a five-wicket transportation, as Tumba Bavuma-The side beat the Aussies by five doctors to end the 27 -year -old ICC trophy drought.
Vaughan wrote to his Fox Sports Column:
“One thing we need to keep in mind is that South Africa has had Kagiso Rabada, a world-class bowl that mercilessly exploded the weaknesses of Australia. He would place him next to Pat Cummins and just behind Bumrah among the best bowls in the world. England has no one belonging to this support.”
Kagiso Rabada is second in the last ICC test rankings for bowls. The 30 -year -old has 336 scalients in 71 tests with the help of 17 wicket transport.
Michael Vaughan also explained that Australia is likely to lose senior players, as many of them are on the wrong side of 30 years. Cricleter's switch felt that some of these players could be left after 2025 ashes.
In the same column, the 50 -year -old wrote:
“I pay attention to Australia and I wonder if they head towards an arid period as they had around the 2010/11 ashes. Three great players retired at the end of the 2006/07 ashes and a load more followed not much later. A great generation can be removed at once.”
“I don't think it happens before the ashes this year, but I would be looking for a certain regeneration if I were Australia. It is complicated these days, because players have such great contracts that they do not want to give up, so sometimes management has to make difficult decisions.”
The Ashes 2025-26 will be played in Australia from November 21, 2025 to January 8, 2026.
Senior players by Australia on the test cricket are:
Usman Khawaja – 38
Nathan Lyon – 37
Steve Smith – 36
Scott Boland – 36
Josh Hazlewood – 34
PAT Cummins – 32
