Kansas fans conform to Bill Self and Jacque Vaughn who address the return of Jayhawks legend

Kansas Jayhawks fans received good news on Wednesday with the announcement that Jacque Vaughn was added to Bill Self's technical staff. Vaughn played the Jayhawks from 1993 to 1997 and now returns to Kansas after almost 30 years. Shortly after the announcement, Jacque Vaughn published a statement.

“I am really honest and overwhelmed by the excitement of returning to my alma mater and joining the coach's staff as an assistant coach. It is a blessing to be part of the Jayhawk tradition.”

Bill Self also published a statement that showed his excitement.

“We are very excited to welcome Jacque and (his wife) Laura in the fold. I think it will be an excellent incorporation into our program, as well as it serves as a great mentor, coach and representative of Kansas basketball.”

Shortly after Kansas Basketball made his post on Instagram, fans went to the comments to celebrate the return of Jacque Vaughn.

Jacque Vaughn brings NBA experience to Kansas Jayhawks
