Lamar Jackson slams Marlon Humphrey for going live on team plane after missing Week 11

Lamar Jackson gave teammate Marlon Humphrey a reality check after the Baltimore Ravens beat the Cleveland Browns 23-16 on Sunday. The Ravens improved to 5-5 in Shedeur Sanders' league debut and moved closer to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North division standings.

It was a tough game for the Ravens, who scored 13 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to clinch the game. As the team returned from Cleveland, Humphrey started an Instagram Live session, but not everyone thought he had the right to celebrate.

A clip shared by Dov Kleiman on X on Wednesday shows a staff member telling Humphrey that he can be on Instagram Live if he's not playing. Lamar Jackson noticed this and supported the staff.

“You didn't play today. Turn that shit off,” the two-time NFL MVP said.

Marlon Humphrey applauded saying he encouraged his teammates, but the result did not change and Humphrey finished the run.

Humphrey missed Sunday's game after suffering a finger injury that required surgery. Coach John Harbaugh gave a positive update on the cornerback's chances of returning to the field Sunday against the New York Jets.

“Ravens coach John Harbaugh said he's 'optimistic' CB Marlon Humphrey will play again Sunday vs. Jets. Humphrey sat out last game with finger injury,” Jamison Henley tweeted Monday.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said he's “optimistic” that CB Marlon Humphrey will play again Sunday against the Jets. Humphrey did not play in the last game due to a finger injury.

Lamar Jackson missed Wednesday's practice for the second week in a row. He sat out last week with a sore knee, but returned to full participation in the following days.

The former Patriots linebacker asks Lamar Jackson about preparing for the Browns game

Although the Ravens beat the Browns, Lamar Jackson did not have a spectacular performance. He recorded his first multi-interception game since 2023, causing concern for former New England Patriots tight end Damien Harris. The CBS Sports analyst said Jackson played scared and he didn't look like his usual self.

“What the hell is wrong with Lamar Jackson?” Harris said. “Really, because when I watch him play, I see two things. I see him playing scared and hesitating, and I see him frustrated after every possession that doesn't end with seven points. He wasn't climbing the pocket today. He wasn't extending plays with his legs and leaving his receivers uncovered.”

The Ravens remain the favorites to make it out of the AFC, but they need their biggest star at his best to beat their opponents.
