Lebron James goes to a low season after the Lakers were eliminated by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Playoffs of the NBA in 2025. James has a player option for next season, but will consult his wife, Savannah James, and the rest of his family about his future.
Speaking to journalists after the Lakers 103-96 loss in match 5 on Wednesday, “King James” wondered about the possibility of retiring. He is still one of the best and most popular players in the league at the age of 40, but has shown signs of slowdown in recent seasons.
However, Lebron has not decided and will have to talk to Savannah and his family before doing it. His eldest son, Bronny, is signed in the Lakers, while his second child, Bryce, is expected to attend Arizona later this year. His only daughter, Zhuri, is in the fifth grade and has an interest in volleyball.
“I have no answer to this,” James said. “I will sit with my wife, my family and my support group and a little just talk -and see what happens. Just talk with myself about the time I want to continue playing. I have no answer to this, to be honest. We'll see.”
Look at this space as the story continues to develop. Will be updated soon.
