Lewis Hamilton criticized the behavior against Ferrari's race engineer for F1 Pundit, 65

F1 presenter Martin Brundle criticized Lewis Hamilton For his behavior against the Riccardo Adami engineer during his debut at the Australian Grand Prix. Throughout the race, the British was heard asking his race engineer not to pass much information.

Hamilton's debut with Ferrari in Australia turned out to be a great disappointment, as it was behind Alex Albon's Williams for most of the race. In addition, a late call from the team threw it to the back of the network and only ended at P10.

Although it is understood that the 40 -year -old is still known by the car, F1 Pundit Martin Brundle did not find his impressive debut.

“ Eighth in the network behind his teammate Leclerc, losing a little in the first corner and following Williams of Alex Albon for what seemed like a age, and then passing outside the Turn Fast 9 by a Piastri recovered spectacularly (Oscar) Piastri in the last lap: consignant Lewis to a point tenth, he was not there, he wrote there, '' her Sky sports spine.

Brundle criticized another aspect of Hamilton's debut. On several occasions during the race, Hamilton's race engineer, Riccardo Adami, continued to transmit information such as the availability of K1, etc. All these times, Lewis Hamilton asked him to stop and to “leave (he).”

“I do not understand why Lewis was so cornered with his engineer Riccardo Adami, who heard that he simply tried to transmit relevant and useful information,” Brundle added.

Hamilton's performance in the standings was not very impressive either, as he was slower than his teammate Charles Leclerc.

Ferrari aims to improve radio communication with Lewis Hamilton

Ferrari's team director Frederic Vasseur said he hopes to improve radio communication with Lewis Hamilton, as he reviewed the strategic decisions made during the race.

The mixed conditions around Albert Park could be guilty of the decisions that were made during the race. As most drivers continued with tires, the rain poured again and the scuderia was late to stick their drivers, hoping to keep on a drying court. However, this game put them in a huge loss.

Moving on the season, Vasseur feels the need to improve communication with Hamilton and, hopefully, make better decisions.

“It was the first race, the first time we have to communicate between the wall of the pit and the car, and we can do a better job and get to know us more,” said Vasseur. “Surely it was not clean at all, the strategy was difficult and we have to find a better way to communicate between the car and the wall of the pit, but we will learn from race 1 and it is no problem.”

Lewis Hamilton finished his degree at P10 with his teammate Charles Leclerc at P8. In total, it was a disastrous day for Ferrari, as they only scored five points and are in the seventh place in the World Championship.
