Manchester United given green light to spend €200m on Real Madrid star next summer: Reports

Manchester United They have reportedly received the green signal from Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr to make a move for him. The Red Devils are keen to sign the Brazilian, who has decided not to sign a new contract with the Whites.

According to a report a Central DefenseManchester United see Vinicius Jr as the superstar signing for the club, and they want to splash the cash on the Real Madrid star. They want him to be their biggest signing since Cristiano Ronaldo and market him as a future Ballon d'Or winner.

The Brazilian star has just over 18 months left on his contract at the Santiago Bernabéu, and the winger is not interested in signing a new deal. He has reportedly clashed with manager Xabi Alonso, who has taken him out of most games this season.

In addition, contract talks with the whites have been stalled for months, as there is a significant gap between the wages asked and those offered. Reports in Spain suggest the club are offering him £17m a season, while the winger wants a Ronaldo-like contract at £26m a season.

Athletic reported last week that the winger has made up his mind about the contract situation and informed the club that he will not sign a new deal if his relationship with Alonso does not improve.

Manchester United will face competition from the Saudi Pro League for the Real Madrid star

Manchester United will face competition from the Saudi Pro League for Vinicius Jr this summer. Journalist Ben Jacobs has reported that Al Ahli are willing to spend €350 million to sign the Real Madrid star and said GOAL:

“Obviously it will be very difficult to achieve in 2025, but that's what I'm told: a bit like a world record bid for Kylian Mbappé when he was still at PSG, which was rejected. The Saudis are willing to pay not that €1 billion release clause, but €350 million.”

“That's the number they're coming up with to try and get Real Madrid to say 'wait a minute. Is that too good to turn down?' No yes from the player yet, but watch this space. Al-Ahli Vini Jr, summer 2025, €350 million.”

Saudi Pro League sides have been keen to sign Vinicius Jr during recent transfer windows but have failed to turn heads. The Manchester United target has been adamant about staying at Real Madrid, but is now open to leaving the club amid contract talks and his relationship with Xabi Alonso.
