Manchester United They have reportedly received the green signal from Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr to make a move for him. The Red Devils are keen to sign the Brazilian, who has decided not to sign a new contract with the Whites.

The Brazilian star has just over 18 months left on his contract at the Santiago Bernabéu, and the winger is not interested in signing a new deal. He has reportedly clashed with manager Xabi Alonso, who has taken him out of most games this season.

In addition, contract talks with the whites have been stalled for months, as there is a significant gap between the wages asked and those offered. Reports in Spain suggest the club are offering him £17m a season, while the winger wants a Ronaldo-like contract at £26m a season.

Athletic reported last week that the winger has made up his mind about the contract situation and informed the club that he will not sign a new deal if his relationship with Alonso does not improve.
