Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez participated in a stabbing incident on October 4 in Indianapolis. Sánchez's mother's mother, Erin Campaneris, commented on Sunday.
Sánchez and Campaneris have an eight -year -old son named Daniel.
“I am aware of the serious criminal accusations that are currently facing my son's father, Mark Sanchez,” Campaneris wrote on Instagram.

“My main priority has always been, and continues to be, our eight -year -old son, Daniel. I chose to silence publicly to protect Daniel. Now that everything is in the open, my goal has not changed. I have always been concerned about his safety and what he is exposed. Sadly, nothing is surprising for me.”

He added that all he wants is to protect his son.
“Like everyone else, I found out about the horrific event by means of a news alert on my phone while sitting next to Daniel,” Campaneris wrote. “I still know only what is publicly available. At the end of the day, I am simply a mother for a very sweet young man who does his best to protect his peace.”

Sanchez married the actress Perry Mattfeld on May 28, 2023, after gathering -years ago while filming “Shameless” in Chicago. They welcomed the twin girls last March.
Nine days ago, Sánchez fought with a 69 -year -old trucker named Perry Tole. It happened near a hotel loading dock and started a parking problem and things went out of hand. Police reported that Sanchez was spoiled by pepper and stabbed several times. The truck driver said he was defending himself because Sánchez attacked him first.
Sánchez was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Tole was also injured, as she had a deep cut on her face through her cheek and hit her tongue.
Sánchez was released from the hospital and taken to prison on Sunday. It faces serious charges. A crime to hurt someone and three crimes: hitting someone, being in a vehicle without permission and being drunk in public.
