Max's ominous notice Verstappen on Red Bull while addressing his team exit

Max Verstappen sent a nefarious notice to Red Bull, as the pilot is clear that he would stay on the team and wants to see that the progress is made. Dutch driver has been part of the Austrian configuration since F1 entered 2015. His first team was Toro Rosso, where he spent just over a year.

Shortly afterwards, he was promoted to Red Bull, where he made an instantaneous impression winning his first race with the team. After years of maturation, the Dutch driver won his first title in 2021 and has been unbeaten since.

That said, Max Versappen has not had the best race lately with the team. Red Bull dominated the sport in 2023, where he once lost all season. The team's shape was born in 2024, while the Dutch driver had just scraped his title.

By 2025, Red Bull stabilized his position in the field, but Max Verstapen still has the second fastest car on the grill behind McLaren. As a result, it is only third in the championship, its worst position in the standings since 2022.

This has caused questions about the future of the Dutch driver with the team. While Max Verstapen continues to reaffirm that he will be with Red Bull until the end of his contract, in conversation with the Telegraph, the driver specified that he would improve the improvement of the team. Said,

“I always said it to the team. This is the intention, unless weird things happen. But this (a way out) is not my intention right now. Because first I want to see how the rest of the season -or at least part of this -goes. The large and decent steps can do it.”

The next important races for Max Verstapen and Red Bull's Future

Max Versappen also made it clear that the next races are crucial not only for Red Bull, but also for his future. The fall that began almost a year ago has caused many headaches for the Austrian team and left the Dutch driver in a position where fighting for victories is a new feature. Speaking of the importance of the next races, he said,

“The next races are very important. Yes, also for my future. Then, I am not even necessarily only talking about next year, but in general. I think everyone on the team also realizes.”

Max Verstapen is currently third in the championship and 32 points behind the championship leader Oscar Plastri. He would be waiting for a strong race this weekend to try to keep his hopes of the championship alive.
