Michael Chandler calls Charles Oliveira revenge the biggest disappointment of his career


Michael Chandler reflected on his unanimous loss of decision in Charles Oliveira in his remittance at UFC 309.

Chandler, who will face Paddy Pimblett at CO-Main event Ufc 314 This Saturday was interviewed by Teddy Atlas Espn mma. The former champion of Bellator opened his loss in Oliveira at UFC 309 and emphasized that it was the greatest disappointment of his career.

However, Chandler stated that he evolved during this struggle, emphasizing that he did not fight recklessly and instead used his brain and maintained the composition throughout the combat. Said:

“I feel as if I was more deferred in my career than any other struggle in this last struggle with Charles Oliveira. But I saw more composition visits in this struggle. There was a loss, but there was a growth in this struggle. If I use my brain, I think I made some very good veteran decisions. I felt more alive, more composite and more comfortable.”

Michael Chandler Eyes Title Shot with a victory over Paddy Pimblet

Currently, Michael Chandler is 1-4 in his last five fights, but he is still optimistic to get a title shot if Paddy Pimblett is defeated at UFC 314. Speaking to Schmo, Chandler stated that a victory over Pimblett could reign his chances of putting UFC Gold's hands. Said:

“This is another opportunity for me to continue to raise my claim, to say,” Hey, I'm still here. I am still working towards this title, I still think that a UFC title struggle is in my future, I have a lot of shooting on my tires and a victory over Paddy Pimblett shows that I am not here to take these five best boys to protect my ranking. I'm throwing everything on April 12.
