Visiting Michigan Wolverines fans were in for a treat as their hosts, the Northwestern Wildcats, played their favorite song 'Mr. Brightside'. Just as Wolverines fans were getting into the groove, the tune cut into the troll music classic “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley. Michigan fans in attendance were visibly shocked during the impromptu segment.

The Michigan Wolverines went into halftime with a slim 5-4 lead over their opponents. The game was a tricky affair as both sides' defenses were on point.
The Wolverines have playoff aspirations, while the Wildcats are looking to secure bowl eligibility as soon as possible. So it's no surprise that big-screen controllers seemed to get a slight advantage while gamers took a breather.
A positive in the first half was Michigan rookie Andrew Marsh tying a record that has stood since 2009. According to Sports Illustrated, the wide receiver became the first true Michigan freshman to have multiple 100-yard games in the same season since Roy Roundtree in 2009.
The report says Roundtree had two 100-yard games in the 2009 campaign. He racked up 126 yards against Purdue and 116 yards against archrivals, the Ohio State Buckeyes. As for Marsh, he piled up 138 yards against the USC Trojans and went well over the 100-yard mark in the first half of the Northwestern showdown.
Andrew Marsh is building a fruitful partnership with fellow freshman Bryce Underwood. The duo appears to be locked in for the future and could usher in a new era for the Wolverines.
The Wolverines beat out Texas, USC, Washington and more for Marsh's commitment. It looks like a masterful move just a couple of games into his Wolverines career. He has defeated Semaj Morgan, Channing Goodwin and more to become Underwood's de facto target.
