Nikola Vučević was seen as a potential trade candidate leading to the deadline until Thursday, but he is alleged that the Chicago Bulls will expect to remain placed.
KC Johnson From the Chicago sports network, Vučević “prepared” to stay in Chicago, especially since Golden State Warriors “moved attention to greater goals, including Kevin Durant.”
From the bull's perspective it makes little sense to keep a big man if he has absolutely nothing from the offer.
After all, they were already trading Zach avalanche in Sacramento kings in a contract that brought De'Aaron Lisica to Spurs San Antonio. They also did not present Demar Derozan in the past and are not a real candidate at the Eastern Conference in 22-29 even after the victory on Tuesday through Miamie.
34-year-old Vučević was signed throughout next season, and it is difficult to imagine that the bulls were force in the east while still a contract.
Instead, they can transfer the focus on the reconstruction that seemed to pick up a pair with a trafficking and trying to add a draft capital and a young player.
But it only works if there is a willing trading partner, and warriors who look somewhere can limit potential associations. Michael Scotto Hoopshype also stated Los Angeles Lakers as an interested side, but he noticed that Chicago “may have to settle for more types of second round.”
Given that reality, it starts to have more sense why Vucevic is preparing for staying.
After all, the bulls could always ask to trade it during the out-of-season or campaign 2025-26 if the alternative settles for selecting another circle. It is likely to be in reconstruction mode at that time, so that the prospects would be quite similar.
And if Vučević continues to play well as a double double threat every time he goes on the floor, it will probably still be some values at the time.
