NFL fans react as De’Von Achane reveals strip club visit after Dolphins win NFL game


Runner De’Von Achane joined hosts Amon-Ra and Equanimeous St. Brown on Wednesday’s episode of the “St. Brown Podcast.” When the conversation turned to what Miami players do to relax, Achane said the team has a few places to visit, ranging from chill rooms to occasional visits to strip clubs.

“He wasn’t really an outgoing guy at first,” Achane said. “Most of us, though, are like, ‘Where are you trying to go?’. We could go to a lounge for a chill, vibe or go to a strip club.”

Achane may have meant it as a casual comment on Miami’s usual nightlife scene, but NFL fans were quick to jump on board, using it to send their own messages to the young running back and the Dolphins:

“Miami has never won a championship,” said one fan he said.

“I understand it’s Achane and he’s been playing, but this kind of stuff is why Miami players are never locked into football. I bet in places like Green Bay they’re only focused on one thing and that’s football,” another fan. he said.

“This is what the Pat Riley Miami mentality has come to – smh,” one fan he said.

“No wonder Miami was trash. Also explains Tua’s comments about players not attending meetings,” said one fan. he said.

“Yeah, no wonder we’re 5-7,” another fan he said.

“Miami is definitely different than other cities, too much distraction. That’s why, as a Dolphin fan, I know they’ll never win another championship,” said one fan. he said.

The Dolphins have been in good form over the past three weeks, winning all three games. Still, their early 1-6 slump has left them on the brink of the playoff race at 5-7.

Even with their increasingly slim playoff hopes, one thing has remained bright for the Dolphins this season and that is Achane’s consistent burst and weekly impact.

The 24-year-old running back has become one of Miami’s most reliable and explosive playmakers. In 12 games, he has 186 carries for 1,034 rushing yards and six touchdowns. He’s also been a big factor in the passing game, tallying 54 receptions for 370 yards and four more scores.


De’Von Achane was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for October

The NFL made the announcement Thursday Miami Dolphins Running back De’Von Achane won the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for November. It’s the first time he’s received the honor, and he’s the first Dolphin to win a monthly award since the kicker. Jason Sanders he did it last December.

The last Dolphins player to win AFC Offensive Player of the Month was a wide receiver Tyreek Hillwho won the honor in October 2023.

In November, De’Von Achane led the entire NFL with 495 rushing yards on 79 touches. He averaged 6.3 yards per carry, scored three touchdowns and added 17 catches for 135 yards between Weeks 9-13.
