Abraham Ancer expressed his hopes that LIV Golf will receive large exemptions in the future

In January, Abraham Ancer sat down for an interview with Golf Monthly where he shared his thoughts on major exemptions. The golfer expressed his support for golfers in the PIF-backed Saudi golf league to have the opportunity to compete in the majors. Ancer said (via Monthly Golf):

“We'll find out if anything changes (regarding Majors waivers). Do we want to play in the Majors? Of course we do. So hopefully something happens and there's a little bit of a way.

“I think there are a lot of (LIV) players that have a chance to win a Major, but we'll see what happens. We definitely saw that last year and you see how hungry we are to want to play in Majors.”

Ancer also revealed in the same interview that he was happy with his decision to join LIFE Golf even after knowing the possibility of not being able to compete in the majors.
