Paige Bueckers makes Kyrie Irving wishes ahead of WNBA Rookie season

Ever since he arrived in Dallas as a general selection of the wings number 1 of the WNBA project of 2025, Paige Bueckers has been a member about his admiration for Kyrie Irving. After showering -Dallas Mavericks star with high compliments during his Novio introductory press conference a few weeks ago, Bueckers took another step with a request.

During a press conference, the wings guard revealed his desire to see Irving on the stands in one of his games during the next 2025 campaign.

“I would like to see Kyrie in a game surely,” said Paige Bueckers.

Kyrie Irving has been one of the greatest defenders of women's basketball, after expanding his support for the WNBA earlier. Their contributions extend far beyond being next to the court as they attend games.

Irving gave $ 1.5 million, through Kai empowerment, to help cover the salaries of those players who chose not to participate in the WNBA bubble for several reasons.

“If a person decided to fight for social justice, play basketball, focus on physical or mental health, or simply connect with their families, this initiative can support their priorities and decisions,” Irving's statements are called.

There will be many possibilities for Paige Bueckers and Kyrie Irving to connect so that they will both represent Dallas for the foreseeable future. Since Irving has forged close bonds with WNBA players like Sue Bird in the past, he could create a similar bond with Bueckers.

Paige Bueckers empathizes with Kyrie Irving

During the March 3 game of Mavericks against the Sacramento Kings, Kyrie Irving suffered a knee injury. The RMN confirmed a torn left knee ACL, leaving out the superstar indefinitely.

“He has been my favorite player forever. Super excited to be in the same city as he. I hope I can learn a lot from him. I know he is going through an ACL trip, in order to be able to support and support himself -he thinks that he is something that can be motivating,” said Bueckers.

Buckers started his ACL on the left during a collection match at the UCONN training installation at the beginning of the 2022-23 University Basketball season, leaving it for the entire campaign.

However, he bounced back strongly, getting better 21.9 points and 5.2 rebounds per game in the following season. Although their numbers were slightly immersed in the 2024-225 – 19.9 points and 4.6 attendance per game, it ended the year with a national championship.
