Petr Yan seemed to have an indirect fist of Umar Nurmagomedov, highlighting his close ties with his cousin, Khabib Nurmagomedov. Yan emphasized that it is not as privileged as Umar when it comes to his brothers and sisters.
“No Mercy” is a unanimous decision victory over Marcus McGhee at UFC Abu Dhabi last weekend. In the meantime, Umar has not entered the octagon from its loss to the heavy weight champion Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 311 in January from the beginning of this year.
During a recent interview with Ushatayka on YouTube, Yan wondered if he would be interested in fighting Umar. In response, the ex -heavyweight champion of the UFC said:
“Well, Umar lost his last struggle. Since then he has not had a single fight. They have the option to wait and not to train at all. It could be for a year, six months. I need to act, work, to open the way for myself. Neither my brothers nor my sisters have given me anything.”

Revision Petr YanThe comments below (via @champrds AX):
After losing his heavy weight title against Aljamain Sterling at UFC 259 and not having recovered it at UFC 273, Petr Yan faced Sean O'Malley at the UFC 280. In a hard three round battle, O.''Malley was declared the winner by division decision.
However, Khabib Nurmagomedov was shocked by the result of the fight, as he believed that Yan won all rounds of the game. “The Eagle” said:
“Split? How? How? No, how? How is it possible, brother I swear I gave him every round. It was near, but he won each round.”
