After a hectic week of competition in Olympic champion Viktor Axelsen's field, the badminton action will now head to Germany with the BWF Hylo Open 2025. India has a strong contingent in the Super 500 and fans can expect brilliant performances.
The men's singles star will lead the charge for India Lakshya Sen. Sen has previously produced exciting results in Saarbrücken, having won the SaarLorLux Open 2019. With the World Championship medalist struggling to string wins in recent tournaments, he will be hoping that a return to a familiar venue will turn his fortunes around.
The Hylo Open men's singles event will also feature the likes of Srikanth Kidambi and Ayush Shetty, while youngsters Unaati Hooda, Anmol Kharb and Anupama Upadhyay compete in the women's singles event.
Notable Indian carriers who have opted to skip the Super 500 include the doubles pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy i Chirag Shettyas well as single stars PV Sindhu i HS Prannoy.

The Hylo Open features a total prize pool of US$475,000, with all players who advance beyond the opening round receiving a reward for their efforts. The biggest winners will be the individual titles, which will receive $35,625. Meanwhile, the doubles champions will walk away with checks for $37,525. Runners-up in all five categories will receive $18,050.
