Baltimore Ravens quarterback Roquan Smith is still friends with Patrick Queen, but that didn't stop him from talking trash about Queen after Baltimore's 28-14 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday night.
Before the Week 16 meeting with his former team, Queen played down any motivation to play the Ravens, who he played against in his first four seasons. Instead, he he said his goal was to win the AFC North and have “a chance to get T-shirts and hats.”
Those words did not escape Smith.
“I think I remember my guy PQ saying the last time we played it was (a hat) and a T-shirt,” the three-time All-Pro. he told reporters. “But, I think he's (taken) the T-shirt he was wearing, and he's going to be in Cabo, or somewhere.”

While the Steelers did not finish ahead of the Ravens in the division, they were given the opportunity to end Baltimore's season in the AFC Wild Card Round.
Revenge was on the Queen's mind to some degree when she thought about him he said in November he was “no longer needed” by his former team, which led him to sign with Pittsburgh in the offseason.
Instead, Queen saw the Ravens jump out to a 21-0 halftime lead. The Steelers had no answer for Derrick Henry, who rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries.
The Queen complained about how security “got better” and “off the pedal”.

Whether he's taking a vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, or not, the 25-year-old will have plenty of time to find out about Pittsburgh's five-game losing streak to end the 2024 campaign.
