Rory McILroy touches champions changing rooms to players after historical victory

Rory McILroy toured the changing rooms of the champions after his victory in the championship of players. He had his second PGA Tour victory of 2025 last week in the TPC mountain range and, after his triumph, the North Irish welcomed a route through the locker room by the PGA tour curator, Jay Monahan.

His video was shared by PGA Tour's X page and after touring, McILroy said:

McILroy won the tournament with 12 underneath after shooting 67 in the first round with three birds on the new striker and four at the back of the new one. In the second round, he shot 68 with a bird on the front of nine and five at the back. In the third and fourth round, the golfer scored 73 and 68 with three and four birds along with an eagle, respectively.

Before the Tournament of Players, McILroy won by 2025 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM with a marker of 21 below 267 after shooting 66-70-65-66 in four rounds. In the first round, he loaded four birds along with an eagle. In the second round, he dropped four birds along with an eagle, and in the third round he made seven. In the last round, he shot five birds along with an eagle.

Prior to the 2025 Player Championship, Rory McILroy won the 2019 players' championship with a score of 16 under 272 in defeating Jim Furyk.
