Russell Westbrook mocks himself online for missing 4 straight dunks in a mini hoop

Russell Westbrook was warming up for a game with the Sacramento Kings on Friday when he was caught in a tight end. In a TikTok video, Westbrook was seen dribbling before the game, but then missed four straight dunks in a mini hoop.

Westbrook's attempts went off the rim before dribbling back onto the concrete floor.

The video went viral on X as fans mocked Westbrook following the pregame sequence.

@BronGotGame Gets my limits

@BronGotGame 4 bricks and then the fake march of carefree cheat tears😭

@BronGotGame leaving without putting it on the net at least once is criminal bro

Others played down the jokes about Westbrook.

@BronGotGame they don't call him Westbrick for nothing

In contrast to online commentary, Westbrook has been impressive kings this season, averaging 14.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 6.4 assists. He is shooting 44.1% from the field and 39.7% from the three-point line.

However, the Kings have struggled to start the season, winning just three of their first 13 games. They are currently on a five game losing streak.

Westbrook, who is now 18 years old N.B.A season, has taken over Dennis Schroder's starting point guard role since their game against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, November 12.

The 37-year-old former league MVP signed a one-year deal with the Kings just weeks before the NBA season began. The Kings are the seventh team in the NBA in the last eight seasons.

Russell Westbrook shares his thoughts on the Kings' early season struggles

The Kings' early season struggles may have been alarming, but for Russell Westbrook, there's still something to be optimistic about.

According to Westbrook, the Kings are in the process of getting to know each other on the court, believing they would have to make a breakthrough to be together.

“Honestly, I think we're just trying to figure it out as a team … but I think there's a conscious effort to try to figure it out and try to figure out what works for us as a team,” he said.

“All we have is each other. In my experience, the best part about this game and this league is that things like this can pull you apart or bring you closer together.”

The Kings have not won a game since Nov. 5 against the Golden State Warriors.

Westbrook and the Kings will face the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday, November 16.
