Two franchises with rich histories square off early in the season when the Sacramento Kings visit the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday, part of a 10-game NBA slate.

The Kings have faced a challenging early season schedule, with their only win coming by a single point against the Utah Jazz. Their losses have been close, suggesting a lack of final punch: a six-point loss to the Phoenix Suns in Game 1, followed by a seven-point loss to the LA Lakers and a six-point loss to the OKC Thunder in three days.
