Sauce Gardner shades the Jets in a postgame interview after the Colts' brilliant win against the Falcons in Germany


Sauce Gardner made his debut for the Indianapolis Colts in their Week 10 win over the Atlanta Falcons in Berlin, Germany. The two-time first-team All-Pro corner was elated after the international game win. Gardner posted a stat line of six tackles (four solo) and a pass deflection in his first game in Colts colors after spending the first three and a half seasons of his career in Jets green.

After the game, Gardner appeared to throw shade at his former team, the New York Jets, in a postgame preview. He said,

“This is the first time I've been in such an electric locker room this year.”

Gardner's words appeared to be aimed at his former team, the New York Jets, as they endured a rough start to the season before being traded to the Colts at the trade deadline. The Jets went 1-7 before parting ways with their superstar cornerback for a trade package of two first-round picks and Adonai Mitchell.

Interestingly, the Jets recorded their second win of the season against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. It was an emphatic win for Aaron Glenn's team in their first game without Gardner and Quinnen Williams on their roster.

Sauce Gardner preparing for Super Bowl with Colts

Gardner sauce he was arguably one of the biggest winners at the trade deadline. He went from the perennially rebuilding New York Jets to an Indianapolis Colts team with genuine Super Bowl aspirations.

The foals they are 8-2, and have two top value players on their roster in Daniel Jones and Jonathan Taylor. Adding Sauce Gardner to the mix gives their secondary some much-needed star power as they face some formidable opponents in the second half of the season.

The foals will embark on a bye in Week 11 before traveling to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri to face Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. They will then have games against other playoff-caliber opponents such as the Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers.

The Colts have a good chance to not only win the AFC South, but also get the top seed in the AFC. They could then have home-field advantage for the remainder of their Super Bowl push in what has been a splendid campaign for the franchise.
