Shohei Ohtani's Teamamate, Los Angeles Dodgers The initial launcher Tyler Glasnow, weighed the recovery of the two -band star of Tommy John's surgery. In particular, Glasnow was referring to how things could work once Shohei Ohtani returned to the mound, potentially arriving at the Games as a relief launcher.
During an appearance in gross territory published on Monday, Glasnow spoke of “piggybacking” during the future appearances of Shohei Ohtani. Glasnow said:
“I don't know about everyone else, I did it in Japan. I played in the fifth or sixth post and finished the game when I liked four tickets.”

Comments make allusion to the possibility of Ohtani Starting the games, but throwing two or three entries, leaving the rest of the game in Glasnow. As such, Dodgers Hurler made clear his views on this possibility:
“I think it would be strange in the season, just having a boot routine, and then having to launch and wait, the Go to throw it out of the bullpen, as is more than something of relief; which I could do if they needed, I could find a way to discover me. If I had my number option, I would like to start the game.”
Glasnow seems to be susceptible to anything that the system manager, Dave Roberts, imposes moving forward. Whenever the coincidences of situations justify the need to make Ohtani put two entrances and then have the Glasnow relief, he is sure to do so.
During his appearance in the podcast of the dirty territory, Glasnow He also discussed his impressions about a recent bullpen departure from Shohei Ohtani.
Glasnow emphasized the fact that Ohtani is not yet ready to achieve the mound in a game situation, but slowly.
Stated:
“It is certainly a unique situation. I think it can relate to people as to returning from Tommy John, where you hit or launch, everyone who has gone through Tommy John can relate to what is happening, things that was happening before, as super normal … The ups and downs can be quite similar.”
Glasnow comments emphasize the fact that the recovery of Tommy John's surgery is not an easy task. Still, Shohei Ohtani He has done his best to re -launch shape while playing a full -time DH paper.
Added:
“Seeing -going to his work, doing his work as a cage and leaving and launching, throwing in the bullpen. I was there for his bag two days ago, and he looked well. He had an effortless appearance, good veil, still as he just went through him.”
Encouraging signs seem to point to Ohtani gradually prepared to hit the mound.
Glasnow concluded with a positive note, saying:
“I have seen some of its training programs and it is in the right direction.”
The plan is for Ohtani to return to the mound at some time in the middle of the season. Judging from Glasnow comments, it seems Ohtani could be right on the way.
