India Batter Shreyas suffered gallstones and was admitted to hospital in Sydney after collapsing while serving the third innings against Australia.
Iyeyer was injured on Saturday when he was trying to get rid of Alex Carey, the 30-year-old has been sidelined with severe pain after swearing at Cyf.

“Shreyas Iyer suffered a serious injury to the left third rib,” the BCCI said in a statement on Monday.
“He was taken to the hospital for further evaluation. Scans revealed an injury to his spleen. He is under treatment, stable, and recovering.
“India's team doctor will be in Sydney with Shreyas to finalize his progress.”
