CCTV, taken at 7.41PM, then shows the attacker leaving and jumping over the fence while still holding the knife.
Witness Thomas McLachlan, 19, from London, who was on the train returning from Newcastle, described how people were leaving the train “, on the report of blood”.

In a statement earlier, btp said the first five of the eleven had already been laid to rest after being withdrawn. One person remains dangerous.
“Five injured people have now been taken to hospital and one is in critical condition,” he said.
“The victim is a member of the Lyr train crew who was on the train at the time and tried to stop the attacker.
“The CCTV footage from the train and it is clear what he does that happens because of the minister and without a doubt he saved a lot of people's lives.”
