Travis Kelce’s fiancee Taylor Swift was confirmed to have nothing to do with a viral rumor with 1.1 million views. He claimed he paid another bride to have a wedding date at a location in Rhode Island.
The story began after Page Six reported Thursday that the pop superstar wrote a big check to snag a wedding space at Ocean House on June 13.

The resort denied the rumor in a statement to Fox News Digital on Saturday. Ocean House made it clear that it never allows a person to buy another couple’s wedding date.

“Ocean House prides itself on being rooted in confidentiality, integrity, loyalty and customer service,” said the Ocean House spokesperson. “The Ocean House team is committed to providing each of our brides, grooms, their families and friends with an experience of a lifetime when they host a wedding at our resort.”

He also reminded everyone that once a couple books their date, it cannot be replaced.
“When clients and their families choose Ocean House as their wedding venue, it is an agreement and commitment between our team and that family,” the spokesperson said.
“Ocean House would not and will not allow another party or entity to purchase a wedding band outside of a contracted wedding date,” the statement said. “We appreciate the interest in our brides and grooms, but allow them to confirm their wedding location with whomever they choose.”
Page Six reported on November 22 that Swift and Kelce will use their $17 million Rhode Island mansion as their wedding venue.
They will reportedly spend about $1.2 million on landscaping to build a large yard and add more privacy. Swift wants months of planning to make sure the property is filled with red roses, hydrangeas, orchids and peonies.
There were also rumours stating that the couple will marry at the Breakers estate in Newport. However, the Newport County Preservation Society denied this on October 24.
“Taylor Swift will not be getting married at the Breakers, or any other society-managed property,” said Gary Ruff of the Preservation Society of Newport County.
Kelce proposed to Swift in August after two years of dating.
