A new rotation of Honkai Star RailMemory of Chaos (Forgotten Hall) combat game mode is here in version 3.6. This iteration includes enemies such as Aventurine of Stratagems, Wonder Forest's Banacademic Office Staff, Flame Reaver of the Deepest Dark, and Ichor Memosprite – Judge of Oblivion. Clearing Memory of Chaos rewards you with a wealth of valuable items such as Stellar Jades, Credits, and Jade Feathers.
Since all enemies in Memory of Chaos have certain types they are weak to, using team compositions that take advantage of those weaknesses can help you get a clear cut. This article discusses the best team compositions you can use to complete Honkai Star Rail 3.6 Memory of Chaos.
The first half of Honkai Star Rail 3.6 Memory of Chaos Stage 12 features the Furiae Praetor and The Ascended in Wave 1, and the Flame Reaver in Wave 2. All of these enemies are weak to Ice, Lightning, and Quantum, making the following team compositions extremely viable:

A dual DPS team with Castorice and Evernight will help you quickly clear the first half of stage 12 in minimal cycles. Since Chaos Memory's current buff increases the damage dealt by characters with memosprites, both Castorice and Evernight can deal massive amounts of damage to all enemies.
In case you don't have Evernight, it can be replaced with Remembrance Trailblazer. Similarly, Tribbie and Hyacine can be replaced by Ruan Mei and Luocha, respectively. However, note that the team's overall damage will be significantly reduced if Castorice's premium gear is not used.

Since The Herta is an AoE Ice DPS unit that can deal damage to multiple enemies at once, it's a good choice to remove the Furiae Praetor's summon in the first wave. Anaxa has incredible synergy with The Herta and can act as a sub-DPS and support unit on this team. Players who do not have Hyacine can use it free unit Dan Heng Permansor Terrae like the support in the composition of this team.

Another AoE DPS unit that can take advantage of the memosprite benefits provided in this stage is Aglaea, who can finish off the first wave enemies with relative ease. Sunday and Robin are his best supports, and using them on this team is essential to increase his overall damage. Be sure to focus on defeating the Flame Reaver's summon first in order to minimize the damage taken from his final attack.
The second half of stage 12 in Honkai Star Rail 3.6 Memory of Chaos consists of Sweet Gorilla from Dreamjolt Troupe, Bubble Hound from Dreamjolt Troupe and Spectral Envoy Aurumaton in Wave 1, along with Ichor Memosprite – Judge of Oblivion in Wave 2. Lightning and Ice, you can use the following team compositions to clear this half:

A Phainon hypercarry team with Sunday and Cerydra as support will allow you to clear both waves fairly quickly and effectively. Focus on building up Phainon's energy so he can enter his ultimate form as soon as possible. Using a protector like Dan Heng Permansor Terrae is the best option for this half, as enemies in both waves can be weakened if your party members are protected by shields.

A DoT team with Kafka, Black Swan, and Hysilens is also a good choice to clean up the second half of the Honkai Star Rail 3.6 chaos memory. Kafka and Hysilens have excellent synergy and can consistently activate DoTs, with Black Swan supporting the duo. Dan Heng Permansor Terrae is the best sustain unit for this team due to its shielding capabilities, which can weaken both Dreamjolt Troupe's Sweet Gorilla and Judge of Oblivion.

For players who own Anaxa, a team with Main DPS Anaxa can also be used to clear this half of Honkai Star Rail 3.6 chaos memory. Anaxa's ability to implant weakness and buff her own attacks can quickly wipe out enemies in the first wave, leaving you plenty of cycles to defeat the Judge of Oblivion in wave 2. Sunday and Cerydra are Anaxa's best supports, and it's recommended to use them for optimal damage. Similarly, Dan Heng Permansor Terrae is also the best sustain option for this team.
