Andretti Global Driver Colon inherited Finished on the podium at the GP of Detroit in 2025. The F1 Cadillac Prospect began the race in La Pole, but left a couple of points to finish the race at P3. When Kyle Kirkwood won the race, Herta left and detailed the moment he gave to his teammate.
Herta started at the Pole Position, while her teammate Kirkwood started the race at P3. However, a few laps after the first Pitstop, Kirkwood was ahead of Herta on the time sheets.
Herta appeared in front of the media for the press conference after the race, where a journalist suggested that he lost his position against Kirkwood during the first Pitstop, and asked if a faster Pitstop, where Colton came out in front of his teammate, would have guaranteed the victory.
Colton Hereta corrected the journalist and suggested that he was in front of Kirkwood in front of the first Pitstop. The 25 -year -olds young man detail as it was McLaren arrow Star Nolan Siegel who let go of Kirkwood.
“ I went out in front of him. Nolan bombed me almost almost at the turn of 4 and he checked my hip on the wall basically, which stopped me a lot, and this is what allowed Kirkwood around me. But we left the pits in front of me, which is fantastic, '' said Colon Hertta through sports.
“The boys did a great job. The strategy was fantastic. Our boys were solid, even at the yellow flag stop. We were so close to the beat. I was happy with how everything went.”
COLON HERTA, along with the other 9 best drivers, began his degree in alternative tires and set out shortly after 10. However, Nolan Siegel started his degree on Hard Primary Tires and attacked Hereta when Andretti's overall driver came out of cold tire pits. The fighting inevitably cost the 25 -year time as he lost Kirkwood's position.
Colton Herta also suggested during the interviews after the race that the track was difficult for the driver. A journalist asked Herta what he meant, to which he replied:
“I think it's brutal with the blows. It's just a difficult track to do -well, not hitting anything on its own, and when you add 26 more cars, it makes it even harder.”
The 2025 Detroit GP saw that seven riders retire from the race, including the championship leader, Alex Palou. The rugged nature of heavy braking areas caused drivers to fix and end against the barrier.
The McLaren arrow star, Pato O'ward, hit Detroit GP after the 2025 Indycar race despite ending in the top 10. The Mexican revealed as he I hated circuit.
