Former Chicago Bulls The Michael Jordan star is an avid golf fan. During the 2025 Ryder Cup, Jordan was witnessed and saw the matches at the Bethpage Black Course of Farmingdale, New York. Jordan was not the only basketball player retired to the enclosure.

Along with Jordan, old stars like Carmelo AnthonyVince Carter, Tracy McGrady and Brian Scalabrine were present. The five former athletes also appeared in a photo together during the golf event.

Michael Jordan met Dallas Mavericks Rookie Cooper Flagg

Michael Jordan met many younger players and veterans in the NBA during his appearance at Ryder Cup. One of the players he met was Dallas Mavericks Rookie Cooper Flagg. The two were linked during the Saturday event.

They also photographed hands together. It was a memorable moment in the NBA community, as it is expected that Flagg will be one of the best players in the first year of the league. The number 1 selection of the 2025 project shared a special moment when he met with the sixth champion.

Like Jordan, Mavericks Rookie is also playing golf. When he was written by the Dallas franchise, he named Michael Jordan As one of the people of the NBA with whom I would like to play Golf.

“Michael Jordan, I know he is a golfers,” said Flagg. “I think Steph Curry is a very good golf. And then I know (Jayson) Tatum also plays, so maybe Jayson Tatum.”

The three Flagg players mentioned that they spend a lot of time on the golf course to relax -Basketball. Jordan has been playing sports since the mid -1980's. He started playing when he was young in North Carolina, before becoming icon in the NBA.

According to a PGA Tour article, Jordan was invited to a golf session that included his former college roommate and teammate, Buzz Peterson.
