The projected starting line, impact players and rotation

Most teams entering the transfer portal are trying to reconstruct the entire grandstands or make up for disappointing seasons but not Rick Pitino a Saint John. Pitino has publicly rejected high school hiring and is basically launching its destination on the portal. St. John had some massive losses after an impressive season of 31 wins, but Pitino is rebuilt in the race.

Saint John is generally considered to have the largest portal class in the country. Pitino will probably support this class for four headlines, as he managed to have a mass return last season. The talent is amazing and if they freeze well, St. John's could have another season of earnings more than 30 years.

A season of 31 wins was magical, but an outing of the NCAA Tournament of the second round left a bad taste in Pitino's mouth. The RJ star Luis has gone, but Pitino has rebuilt an impressive list on the march. As for talent, St. John's will be there with any program in the country. What will chemistry look like?

Fought

Guard: Ian Jackson

A player who has an important opportunity to become a national star, Jackson was a five-star recruit the season North Carolina It was less than magical. He promised 11.9 points per game, but saw that his play time diminished the section. Jackson, an impressive wing scorer, Jackson can finish the edges of his game under Pitino and could be a superstar.

Guard: Joson Sanon

A 6 -foot transfer of 5 of State of ArizonaSanon had a big year score for Bobby Hurley's team. He promised 11.9 points and 3.4 boards per game and fired 37% from the 3 -point range. Pitino loves scorers at various levels at Guard and this is Sanon's game. It needs consistency, but I could find it with the red storm.

Guard: Oziyeh Sellers

A 6 -foot guard of Stanford, the sellers had an average of 13.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. The sellers shot 40% of the 3 -point range and is 88% free career shooter. With a 3 -point trio of birds, Pitino may have to rethink an offense approach that saw the red storm 330 in the nation in three points made a season ago.

Forward: Bryce Hopkins

A transfer of Kentucky and Providence, the only question with Hopkins is health. The 6-feet-6 striker was an American in Providence player in 2022-23, with an average of 15.8 points and 8.5 boards per game. The only problems are that in the next two years, it has only been able to play in 17 total games. If you are right, Hopkins is a brilliant and small advantage that it will produce.

Forward: Ejiofor teeth

A 6-feet-9 striker, Ejiofor was one of the most improved players in the country a year ago, reaching 14.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. Pitino has already transformed his game and another year can only help finish this transition. Ejiofor is one of the best men to return to university basketball.

Rotation players

There are a million options here. Dylan Darling, Idaho State, will help the court. The transfer of Cincinnati striker, Dillon Mitchell, will play an important role and a larger if Hopkins has injuries again. Secondary Recruiter Kelvin Hateh is a talented wing that Pitino could remember why it is worth looking for high school children.

Impact players

Jackson's ability to find another equipment will be fundamental. Hopkins' health is the only concern for his role. But Ejiofor, which was so often the heart and soul of the red storm a year ago, could play an even greater role in this rotating list.
