Washington It had an approximate 2024-25 season with Danny Sprinkle, publishing a mark of 13-18. But Sprinkle has given the list and introduced an impressive crop of prominent transfer portal. Beware will be a challenge, but Washington should be better and interesting. Here is a look at Huskies by 2025-26.
Guard: Desmond Claude
6-foot Claude was an impressive main guard last year in USC. He promised 15.8 points and 4.2 assists per game. Its shot of perimeter improves, as Claude made 31% of its three -point attempts last year. It is a solid commitment to lead Huskies' offense, although there are several talented possibilities if it is not about to work.
Guard: Wesley Yates III
Another import from USC, Yates had an average of 14.1 points per game for the Trojans as a first -year student. It fired 44% of the 3 -point range and has a very high roof. The 6 feet-4 Yates could be a type of all-big player ten next season. Its skill in the wing and the basket of the open plant make it a main threat to this team.
Guard: Zoom Diallo
The 6-feet-4 diallo was a rare brilliant place of last season UW team. As a first -year student, he promised 11.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. Diallo had a hard year with its perimeter shot, but its athletics should help it better with other talented guards to collect a little perimeter. He is a player to see next year.
Forward: Jacob Ognacevic
In four university season, Ognacevic has scored 1,816 points. Sure, he has seized them Valparriaso and LipsComb. But he is a scorer. It had an average of 20.0 ppg last year and the 6-feet-9 striker is a 31%race shooter. It is fair to ask about his defense, but his score must translate to almost any level.
Center: Franck Kepnang
The Cameroonian who made a sixth year of university basketball. He has played only 84 games over the top five. But if it is healthy, the Kepnang of 6 feet-11 has a high roof. In 14 games last year, he promised 6.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. He is also one of the best Big Ten blockers to return. The only question is if it is (always) healthy.
The depth of the track is crazy. Quimari Peterson, the Eastern State Guard of Tennessee, should see a long time out of the bench, if he does not have an initial job. The Big Lathan Sommelville of 6-Feet-10 could get rid of Kepnang if he is injured or if Sprinkle wants to move towards the future. Indiana Wing, Bryson Tucker, is another prominent candidate for a great role.
It is difficult to ignore this potential scope of Claude and Yates. Yes, they couldn't turn USC a year ago, but it was never their productivity. In the Sprinkle system, both guards could be elite scorers, though in very different ways. Inner boys are a little more than a question sign, but this background track causes a fun Washington team.
