Former NFL and Minor League Baseball player Tim Tebow announced on Tuesday that he and his wife, Demi-Leigh, are expecting a child.
Tebow, a former Heisman Trophy winner with the Florida Gators, appeared in 35 games during his NFL career with the Denver Broncos and New York Jets, throwing for 2,422 yards, 17 touchdowns and nine passing touchdowns while rushing for 989 yards and 12 more.
He was also a member of the New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars, although he never played a regular season game for any of them.
Following his NFL career he briefly attempted a baseball career, hitting .223 with 18 homers and 107 RBI in four different seasons. He reached Triple-A ball in the 2019 campaign but hit just .163 with a .495 OPS for the Syracuse Mets. He did not appear in an MLB game.
