Trade in Brainrot: Extinct Update Guide


Trade a Brainrot is a tycoon simulator on Roblox where you buy Brainrot eggs from the conveyor belt and place them in your base to hatch. These hatched characters can be traded with various NPCs for better brainrots.

On November 14, 2025, Trade in Brainrot introduced the new Extinct update, adding several new features and a new currency that can be used to purchase different items in the event shop. This guide will introduce everything that is added to the game through this update.

What's new in the Extinct update for Trade in Brainrot?

Released on November 14, 2025, the Extinct update added a new Extinct Event Center to one side of the lobby. Here's everything new in this update:

Event extinguished

The Extinct Event Center is located at the end of the lobby, across from the shop area. Here you can access the following features:

Spinning wheel extinct

You can spin this wheel for a limited time to get the following items:

  • Extinct 67 (1% chance)
  • Yin Yang block (5% chance)
  • Cash Potion (19% chance)
  • Lucky Potion (23% chance)
  • $100,000 (24% chance)
  • $25,000 (28% chance)

Defunct merchant

With the new limited-time currency, you can purchase the following items from the defunct merchant:

  • Potion of Luck (Epic): 10 bones
  • Cash Potion (Epic): 10 bones
  • Double Egg Potion (Legendary): 10 bones
  • Sandstorm Shot Fruit (Mythic): 25 Bones
  • Extinct Lucky Block (Exclusive): 100 Bones
  • Extinct Generator (Secret): 250 bones

Robux Items

  • Yin Yang Block: 59 Robux
  • The Spooky Combination: 199 Robux

New weather event and mutation

From time to time a new Extinct weather event will occur in the lobby. This can spawn eggs with the Extinct mutation on the conveyor belt. Buying and hatching these eggs can give you a mutated Brainrot.

Extinct Mutations are currently the highest earning Brainrots in the game.

Event currency

Bones are the new limited time currency added to the game. You can use them to buy various potions and other items from the defunct merchant.

Here's how you can grow Bones faster:

  • Bones can only be obtained by trading with different NPCs in your base.
  • Among all the NPCs, only the NPC labeled “Limited” can give you Bones in exchange.
  • To farm this coin faster, you can skip all NPCs until a limited one joins the line. They give you a reduced opportunity to increase trade value.
  • You can prioritize picking up more Brainrots with low stats to make a non-damaging trade.
