Tyreek Hill confirms career change as Dolphins WR sits out with season-ending knee injury


Tyreek Hill is starting a new chapter in his career as he recovers from the knee injury that ended his 2025 season. The Miami dolphins The star revealed he's taking a spin behind the DJ booth while he rehabs from surgery.

The injury occurred during Miami's Sept. 29 win over the New York Jets, when Hill's left knee twisted awkwardly on a sideline play. He later underwent surgery to repair extensive ligament damage, including a torn ACL, which effectively ended his campaign months earlier.

Miami radio host Andy Slater first shared word of Hill's latest venture, saying the receiver mentioned his DJ debut with musician Luther Campbell during a conversation at Joe's Stone Crab restaurant earlier in the week.

“Coming to play house music near you,” Hill later retweeted Slater on Thursday.

The five-time All-Pro has one season left with his Dolphins contract but has not committed to returning in 2026.

Tyreek Hill talked about his uncertain future about the former teammate Terron Armsteadthe end of October podcast. He said he plans to make a decision only after reflecting with his family and gauging how his recovery is progressing.

“At the end of the day, I think that decision is based on how I feel and where my mindset is at the moment,” Hill said.

“I'm happy with the career I've had. I love playing football. I love it, but it's hard. It's hard on you mentally, it's hard on you physically. Now I'm at the point where I need to have a conversation with mom, family, everybody.”

Hill said his focus right now is rehabilitation and being present with loved ones. The Dolphins placed Hill on injured reserve on Oct. 1 after he had 21 receptions for 265 yards and a touchdown over four games. It's a drop from his explosive 2023 season, when he led the NFL with 1,799 receiving yards.

Coach Mike McDaniel said Tyreek Hill's approach to rehab has been unwavering and praised his decision not to rush any life choices.
