Tyreek Hill passes NSFW comment as Chiefs coach Dave Toub rips Donald Trump on NFL kickoff rule issues

On Friday, Hill responded to X on a video of Toub's remarks/

Toub spoke to reporters Nov. 20 after Trump complained about the league's updated kickoff rule. The rule was added for the 2024-25 season to reduce dangerous collisions and encourage more returns.

Toub didn't hold back, saying the president “doesn't even know what he's looking at.”

“He has no idea what's going on with the pitching rule,” Toub said. “Take it for what it's worth. And I hope he listens.”

Under the new rule, kicks still start at the 35-yard line. The kicking team lines up at the opponent's 40-yard line, while the returning team lines up between their 30- and 35-yard lines.

Cover players may not move until the ball is snapped or touches the ground inside the 20-yard line. A punt that reaches the end zone in the air now goes to the 35 yard line (instead of the 30).

Surprise start pitches are eliminated and teams must declare them in advance

During his appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Nov. 11, Donald Trump strongly disagreed with the rule, calling it “terrible” and “degrading.”

“I think it hurts the game and it hurts the prestige,” Trump said. “I've told (NFL commissioner) Roger Goodell. And I don't think it's any safer. I mean, you still have guys bumping into each other.”

Trump added that he hopes college football never adopts the same rule.

As the debate continues, Hill faces his own challenges off the field.

Hill is currently out for the rest of the 2025 NFL season after suffering a devastating knee injury. He tore his ACL and several ligaments and dislocated his left knee during the Dolphins' Monday Night Football win over the New York Jets on Sept. 29.

Tyreek Hill celebrated Travis Kelce's new career milestone

Tyreek Hill showed love to his former teammate on Sunday after Travis Kelce hit a major milestone for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Just after Kelce scored the touchdown that moved him to the top of the team's all-time regular season touchdown list, Hill connected and called heads TE the:

“GOAT”.

Kelce set the record in the HeadsMatch of the week 11 against the Denver Broncos on November 16. He caught a 21-yard touchdown pass, giving him 84 career regular-season touchdowns and surpassing former Chiefs running back Priest Holmes.

Kelce finished the game with nine catches for 91 yards. Even with their big day, the Chiefs lost 22-19 on a Denver field goal.

Tyreek Hill's shout came more than three years after he left Kansas City.

The Chiefs traded him for the Miami Dolphins on March 23, 2022, after they were unable to grant their request for a significant contract extension following their big Patrick Mahomes deal. Kansas City received five draft picks in the trade.

Tyreek Hill then signed a four-year, $120 million contract with Miami, making him the highest-paid wide receiver in the league at the time.
