Walking on 4,000 pages every day once at risk of death in the elderly, studying | Health

Elderly people who walk just 4,000 times a day every week reduce their risk of dying by a quarter, the study shows.

Being active is known to bring many medical benefits. But many people in their 60s, 70s and beyond struggle with various reasons for not being able to reach the stage they reach. Until now it is not known how many people need to follow the award.

A Harvard University study has some answers. The main study did not seem to be how many steps the elderly people took but how often they went to war in the week.

The researchers found that achieving 4,000 steps one or two days per week is associated with a lower risk of death and risk of cardiovascular disease (cvd), compared to not doing it every day. The findings were published in British Journal of Sports Medicine.

The study followed American women over 62, with an average age of 72. He wore the trackers for about seven consecutive sports between 2011 and 2015 and was tracked for more than a decade. None had heart disease or cancer at the start of the study.

During the analysis period until the end of 2024, 1,765 women died and 781 suffered from heart disease.

Just walking 4,000 steps a day or two a week was associated with a lower risk of death from heart disease, compared to not walking the door every week.

For those who meet this level at least three days a week, the risk of dying from it rises to 40%, but there was 27% risk of heart attack.

The researchers said the most important factor in bullying was how much people walked, not the number of days they walked, which was the most important factor in reducing premature death.

There is no good way “to do your movements, they added. The important thing is to just go in. They realized that “many parts, regardless of the daily methods, are linked to the past”.

On average, the women took 5,615 steps per day. This was a covert investigation, and therefore nothing can be done about what cannot be done because of the reason. There were also several limitations to this study, particularly that exercise was measured for only one week, and only for women.

However, the researchers wrote: “The current study … shows that the frequency of gathering is 6,000 sessions per day (despite the volume that was there), and that the volume is more important than it is with the number of young people.”

He added: “The meaning of religion that is found is that from writing the most important driver.

They concluded: “These findings provide additional evidence to consider including sequential (exercise) guidelines, and similar strategies in a health-promoting way.”
