What Chase Briscoe said about his impulse after a solid Bristol finished

Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) Chase Briscoe driver won a first -class solid five -site ends at Bristol Motor Speedway after a previous weekend. Briscoe finished fourth in the ninth race of the 2025 Nascar Cup season in Bristol last Sunday. He thinks the Bristol P4 finish gives a boost #19 JGR in the direction of the week.

The P4 finish was nothing of relief and satisfaction for Briscoe and his #19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Team ahead of a break from the Nascar Cup series. It was his third fourth place, as well as his third five places this season.

In the post-cursa interview with Nascar Siriusxm radio, Chase Briscoe reflected on his solid Bristol finished, the qualification effort and how his car #19 improved throughout the 500-laps race. He is satisfied with his performance and feels good with the impulse that goes to the weekend outside.

“ In general, a solid day for our Bass Pro stores, Toyota. We needed a little more, but in general it was a good solid day. I am only a kind of kicking to classify -me. It was a track position, depending on the 14th, we spent the 8th or 9 for the first half of the race and then at the end. '' Said Briscoe.

“We were very good, we were able to climb fourth place. Only if we could restart the third or fourth place, that last restart, maybe it would have been a different story. But yes, in general, a great day for us, and yes, enter the week out with a little boost.”

Currently, Chase Briscoe is competing in his first season with Joe Gibbs's JGR team after his former Stewart-Haas racing team closed his operation last year.

Chase Briscoe prioritized a clean race in Bristol

Reflecting on the Bristol Race, Chase Briscoe explained his decision to interpret -the smart instead of making a risky play that could have a solid P4 finish.

In the aforementioned interview, here is what Bristol said:

“Yes, I mean, it was one of those offers if he pressed the problem, he would probably come in. And, in fact, just after the last weekend we had, we needed a good solid day. If I made a mess there, the number 12 would go for me, and I ended up running fifth instead of the fourth place, so I tried to be smart.,

The native, Mitchell, Indiana, 30, has scored so far three first and four places in nine races. It is currently 13th on the Cup's Points Table with 213 points.
