When Gilbert Burns emphasized the role of Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov in the conformation of Khabib Nurmagomedov's impeccable legacy

Khabib Nurmagomedov, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, is one of the most respected coaches in MMA. Formed several fighters, including “The eagle” and Islam Makhaachev, at the top of his game. Unfortunately, he died in 2020 from Covid-19 complications.

Shortly after his father's timeless passage, Nurmagomedov announced his retirement as an unbeaten champion. Widely regarded as one of the greats, many attribute the success of the legend of Dagestani to his father.

“The only thing Khabib had was his father controlling emotions, controlling confidence. That's why I think Khabib was so special because his father was his coach, his mentor, his friend. I think this helps you at a different level.”
